DIRECTOR / PRODUCER - Natasja Pattipeilohy

Natasja Pattipeilohy is the daughter of a Moluccan father and a Hungarian-Dutch mother. Being mixed race means accepting the best and the worst of both worlds. Not able to identify with just one but with all there is, kept her always curious and keen on getting involved in anything that has to do with (cultural) identity and diversity.
From early on, Natasja has always been fascinated by “visual language”. That's how she started with photography at a young age and even published a photo book about the Moluccan identity in the Netherlands. Later she more or less 'fell' into the film industry. Due to her work experience in IT (change) management, Natasja got asked to do the production of a short film and she was hooked immediately. What she enjoys the most is generating great ideas together with likeminded people and creating beautiful things together. In a sense, the creative process of film making can also be an excercise of introspection, because it forces you to examine your 'self' in new ways.

GAFFER - Ralph Schoonenboom

Ralph Schoonenboom. Light is something that can create and enhance the atmosphere of a story and is something that can give every shot character. I strive for every shot that is made to a picture that I would like to hang on the wall as a canvas. Every shot counts. I hope to be able to do this in this project as well and therefore hope to take everything out of it at all times. Besides this project I am also working on other projects, such as camera and / or lighting of TV commercials and music videos, and I am regularly part of the light team on large sets of Dutch films and series.
