PINAR KARAASLAN as “DAPHNE” - As a Turkish-Swedish actress, she started her career at the age of twelve, in typical fashion: performing in school productions which helped her land roles in community theatre in her hometown of Adana. She has ever since been working as an actress in Turkey, Sweden and now The Netherlands; getting multiple roles in short films, feature films and international commercials as well as stage productions. Besides acting, Pinar is active as a storyteller and international voice-over artist, primarily in animations.
MARTIN VIS as “WILL” - After various courses under the guise of personal development, Martin decided in 2017 to change course and started his early acting career with a 'bang' by winning the prize for best actor with the short 'Resolve', directed by Stephan Brenninkmeijer. Shortly afterwards he got a leading role on TV in “Schuldig of niet" and his first short film was selected at the Cannes Film Festival. He decided to develop further as a camera actor at faaam and after graduation several guest roles followed, including in GTST, Lieve Mama and a few commercials.
RAKSHA HOOST as “AMBER” - Raksha Hoost has trained with Andre Landzaat (Actors Studio NY, Lee Strasberg Institute) and Simon Furness (Meisner - The Actors Temple London). She has a passion for portraying strong, complicated characters in drama and action films. Raksha is based in London, UK. She is mixed-race, bilingual (Dutch and English) and a martial artist.
ESRA SAKIR (Writer & Director) - Born and raised in Turkey, Esra Sakir resides in AAmsterdam. After her fine arts background form the Brera Academy of Milan, she became a teacher on re-reading art history on Yeditepe University. In 2008, she left Turkey and did her masters in Fine Arts at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht. She became interested in the possibilities of re-telling the stories of historical artworks, like Diego Velasquez's "Las Meninas”. She founded her film production company in 2015 named Twilight Film Productions, where she had many productions including, short films and artist portraiture.
DENIZ TUMANBAY (Producer & Assistant Director) - Currently studying law, Deniz always had passion for art and media. After being involved in several production jobs in the music and art industry, she became a part of Twilight Film Productions.
DICK MERX (DOP) - Part of my forming years was spent as an expat in rural Africa and Asia, absorbing the shades and colors of different cultures. During a stint at university I took up photography, working mostly with ethnographic art and nature. In 2008 I entered the film industry as 2nd AC and focus puller before moving on to the light department. Filling in for a colleague, my very first act as cinematographer (“Multitasking”, Taminiau 2010) landed me a best cinematography award. I never stopped loving to shape light since. I love the big and the small film sets, bringing the heavy gear or going cat-on-shoulder docu style.
PAVLE MIHALIC (Production Designer) - Studied at the University of Fine Arts & Art History in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Online Art Direction in SAE Institute Amsterdam, Netherlands engaging spatial design as his primal professional platform. In the intervening years, he has assembled a vast range of experiences in Production Design, Art Direction, Set - Stage - Interior Design and Art Installations. Work experience in international film production industry includes more than fifty long and short feature films (fiction), numerous TV, theatre productions and commercials. He currently resides in Amsterdam.
SANTIAGO RODRIGUEZ (Camera Operator) - Multi-skilled Full Stack Engineer with more than 12 years of experience and astounding baroque violin/viola player. After his musical activities came to a halt during the COVID-19 pandemic he craved for creative ways to express himself and decided to switch careers towards more artistic disciplines. Influenced by his love for photography he decided to start his studies on Digital Film Production at SAE Institute in Amsterdam.
ANDRE SCHOORLEMMER (Music) - Andre Schoorlemmer is a music composer from Utrecht, where his studio is located. His film music is characterized by a melancholic, dramatic and personal touch. His background as a multi-instrumentalist means that different styles from flamenco, folk and rock resonate in his music. In 2018 his music premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.The jury of the Queen Palm International Filmfestival (USA) honored him with the Bronze Award for my music for Capo de Famiglia II for ‘Best Music for a feature film’.
ARINDY MELATI (Stylist & Costume Designer) - Arindy Melati is an Surinamese fashion designer based in the Netherlands. Known for her ready to wearluxury womenswear label that finds its power in being your most authentic self. Living life as a vivacious woman Arindy wants to give love to our community and translate the importance of world messages through fashion.
