Why, what how

What information do I share at the project description? In the main text (your pitch document), you can enter anything you find important to mention with regard to yourself or your project: what is the story about, what will you be using the money for, what childhood trauma has led you to want to make this film... However, you can take for granted that no one will read the text until they have watched - and have been convinced by - the video. A supporter will only be interested in background information once he or she is considering making a contribution.

Crew

How much information should I offer about my crew and myself?Of course, it is always nice for a potential supporter to be able to see some of your (or their) prior work (in the form of a show reel, for example). Though we do recommend that you show as much of yourself as possible (including a photo!) since the 'goodwill factor' is an important aspect of committing supporters to your project.
