About the project

LOCKLINEBrian, who got stuck in a rut, receives a call during his broadcast that doesn't turn into a pleasant conversation.

Synopsis:

Brian, a radio DJ who had it all it all, is now working a small local station 'Dutch Capital FM'.

He's cynical, drinks too much and smokes. He's sarcastic and doesn't take anything seriously. One night during one of his broadcast he receives a call from a man who claims he's going to kill his daughter if he hangs up, takes him off the air or calls the authorities. How's Brian going to solve this problem?

Genre: Psychological thriller.

Length: 15-20

Logline: Brian, a bogged down radio DJ, receives a call during his broadcast that doesn't turn into a pleasant conversation.

Why do we want to make this short film?

This film is going to be made because it's our passion. But also what Peter said in the video; you don't see these kinds of films that often in the Netherlands. That's why it's a great challenge for us to realize this project. We're ready, are you???

Sytse Faber (33): He's known from a lot of short films and 48 hour filmprojects. His team won best 48hour film world wide with the short 'These dirty words'.

Poal Cairo (45): He's known for his role in 'Goede tijden Slechte tijden', 'Celblok H' and his role in the new Eddy Terstall film 'Alberta'.

Peter Lusse (57): He's known for his role in the popular 90's sitcom 'Vrienden voor het Leven'. For his role he won a prestigious award for this show.

After working on a lot of sketches, he finished his first short film called 'Doorslag'. His passion lies in directing short films. But next to directing he also is an actor. He did some commercials, promo's and short films.

Producer: Nick Vasilikos (20)

He worked on different short films and 48 hour filmprojects like 'Gays, guitars and other sh@t', 'Petra Ongeduld' and 'kill for youth'.

Writer: Martijn Daamen (38)

Is known for his work on a lot of short films and 48 hour projects. In 2013 he won 'best screenplay' for the 48 hour film 'Don't kill the messenger'

DOP: Stijn Jonkhart

He worked on a lot of tv shows as Gaffer and he's now also doing more projects as DOP. For the 48 hour film 'The right package' he got nominated for best cinematography.

Sound: Stephan Kos (32)

He's known for his work for 'De Ludwigs'(Nickelodeon), 'Meiden van de Herengracht' (Net 5) and the film 'The family weekend'

Art director: Fred Tabois

He's known for his work as setdresser and art direction for a lot of different international movies and series,

Pim Rusch is set photographer and designer. He has worked with Nick before on different projects. Several filmsets are captured in pictures by Pim. Also he shot a lot of filmstills and designed the film posters for some films (o.a. 'Gays, guitars en andere kutzooi', 'Petra Ongeduld' en 'Moord voor jeugd')

On Air is af!

Hallo allemaal,

Na bijna 1.5 jaar toen we begonnen met de opnames, is On Air eindelijk klaar. Er is keihard aan gewerkt en ik ben ontzettend blij met het resultaat.

Wat nu? We gaan uiteraard een premiere houden en vervolgens de film wereldwijd versturen naar filmfestivals. Houd hiervoor de facebookpagina van On Air in de gaten :)

Na a lange periode hebben we onze film eindelijk opgenomen. Het waren 4 lange maar leuke dagen. Het hele post productie proces (montage, geluidsnabewerking, etc) zal nog een poosje duren. We houden jullie op de hoogte.

Opnames eind November

Na een lange periode hebben we eindelijk gepland wanneer we On Air gaan filmen. Dit zal tegen het einde van November gebeuren, dus dat duurt nog even. We kijken er erg naar uit om deze film eindelijk te gaan opnemen.

Update

Hoi allemaal.

We zijn nog een voorbereiding met het plannen van de opnames. De laatste update die ik had geplaatst in de vorm van een vlog, is blijkbaar niet verstuurd naar de funders. Vreemd genoeg had dit wel moeten gebeuren.

Maar hier op heb ik ook nog even een vervolgupdate.

Zoals het er nu op lijkt gaan we in September filmen, maar wanneer weten we nog niet precies. Zodra we meer weten, dan laten we jullie het zsm weten.
