CINECROWD X ALMERE CULTURE FUND

Almere Culture Fund and CineCrowd join forces to support Almere films. Almere filmmakers have the opportunity to receive a contribution from the Almere Culture Fund of maximum 40% of their target amount to their croundfunding campaign.

Selection Process
The collaboration between CineCrowd and Almere Culture Fund is specifically intended for projects made in Almere and/or projects with a producer, director, or screenwriter from Almere. Applications should be submitted via and in consultation with CineCrowd. The final judgment is left to the Almere Culture Fund. Applications can be made in 2018 and 2019.

Criteria
In addition to submitting a plan that shows that the filmmaker has the ability to achieve a qualitative result, the Almere Culture Fund has set the following assessment criteria:

  • The film project has an artistic core
  • The film project is of direct interest to Almere and/or the filmmaker lives in Almere
  • The film project has a distinctive, added value for Almere
  • The film project is demonstrably intended for the public

Contribution
Filmmakers have a chance to receive a contribution of maximum 40% of their target amount, under the condition that at least 50% of their target amount will be donations from the public. The amount will be given when the filmmaker has reached at least 10% of their goal.

Almere Film Night
CineCrowd and Almere Culture Fund have also organised the Almere Film Night. After two successful editions, for each of which an annual competition was held, Almere Culture Fund has decided to support Almere filmmakers in a continuous scheme in crowdfunding.
